Limpopo AMESA MEMBERS SHOCKS THE JUDGES AT THE LP NATIONAL TEACHING AWARDS

LIMPOPO AMESA TAKES ALL TOP POSITIONS IN MATHEMATICS FET Limpopo AMESA is celebrating a historic clean sweep! Three of its active members, who all recently attended the AMESA National Congress, have topped the Limpopo Provincial National Teaching Awards in the category Excellence in Teaching Mathematics FET, taking Positions 1, 2 and 3. This is proof that AMESA members are not just members — they are champions in the classroom. MEET OUR TOP 3 CHAMPIONS POSITION 1: Mr. Mohale Romeo Sammy St. Brendans Catholic Full Service Secondary School Sekgosese West Circuit, Capricorn North District Mr. Mohale was crowned the Number 1 Mathematics FET Teacher in Limpopo for 2026. As an active AMESA member, he is known for his inclusive teaching and for making Mathematics accessible to all learners in a full-service school. He will now represent Limpopo at the National Teaching Awards* at national level. POSITION 2: Mr. Hulisani Steven Mugodo Dzata Secondary School, Vhembe District Vhembe District Chairperson: Limpopo AMESA Mr. Mugodo, the hardworking Vhembe District Chairperson, secured Position 2. He is celebrated for reviving Mathematics activities in Vhembe and for his outstanding classroom results at Dzata Secondary. POSITION 3: Ms. Mmapule Masehlela Phafane Secondary School, Moroke Circuit, Sekhukhune East District Ms. Masehlela took Position 3. A dedicated AMESA member, she is a pillar of Mathematics in Moroke Circuit, known for extra classes and mentoring fellow teachers. One Family, One Victory All three educators attended the AMESA National Congress and brought back knowledge that is now changing classrooms in Limpopo.
